First day out in the city of Munich

I think we traveled for 34 hours to get here. Totally worth it. This city is beautiful. The smell of Gluhwein with cinnamon, fruit and other sweet spices brews along side another stall roasting nuts covered in sugar and other delicious things. It's magic. They serve Gluhwein in these cute little mugs and set up pop up wooden tables with little roofs over the top of them where people huddle together and chat. The fairy lights here are magical. It's no secret I love fairy lights... and they're everywhere. It's the best ever to just walk around a beautiful city lit up like a fairyland. Even the decorations sold around the city are hand-made and really delicate looking. Christmas time here is wunderbar!
